Game backups (.iso's) are legal to have and download, so technically if you've bought the product and the online download doesn't work, it's fine to download an.iso from a hosting site (ie TPB). However I doubt EA would cause any grief through digital download, and I personally buy all my games online (through steam) because it makes my gaming life easier on so many levels.
